To search through the list of opportunities and sign-up to request the one that you are interested in, these steps are required:
| Opportunities: | Key contacts sign up to offer "opportunities" such as Job Shadowing, Internships, etc. |
| Organizations | Businesses, not-for-profits, government agencies interested in participating in career preparation activities. |
| Programs: | General categories of career preparation initiatives. Examples include: Job Shadowing for Students, Tours, Classroom Speakers, etc. See the list of definitions. |

| Key Contact: | A designated person from an organization who has access to the system to modify organization, contact and opportunity information. |
| Opportunity Contact: | People in the business community help implement career preparation activities. Opportunity contacts are signed up by their company Key Contact. |
| Coordinators: | Coordinators are representatives from each school district who have passwords and can facilitate a "match" between students or educators and an organization that has opportunities listed in the database. |
| Site administrator: | Site administrator, an employee of the Bay Area Chamber of Commerce, approves new organizations and opportunities and monitors the site. |
