This guide provides a step by step process for participating in this program. If you sign up for this program, you are responsible for following this guide and meeting any additional expectations required by your school district. You may have to return to this page to complete your requirements.

  Learn about your school's expectations for participating in this program. Not sure what they are? Click on your school name to find out.   Search the database for opportunities and submit a request for the one(s) you are interested in. This is automaticallty e-mailed to your school coordinator.
  Find out who your school coordinator is.
  See your school coordinator for additional forms to complete.
  Have your parent or guardian complete a participation form.
  Submit resume and signed participation form to your school coordinator within three (3) days of signing up.
  Your school coordinator will contact you within two weeks to finalize arrangements; you will need to obtain and complete additional forms and have your parent/guardian sign a permission form.
  Prepare for your interview.
  Participate in the interview.
  A decision is made on whether to proceed.
  Prepare for your work experience; see your school coordinator for details.
  Enter into WORK EXPERIENCE.
  Complete an evaluation form and submit to your coordinator.
  Send a thank-you letter to the work experience mentor.
  Complete any follow-up activities requested by your school.
